Recent primary upsets in Wisconsin and Michigan have placed pollsters under scrutiny after surveys dramatically overestimated progressive candidates.

Center-left Democrat David Crowley defeated socialist Francesca Hong in Wisconsin's gubernatorial primary by half a percentage point.
Polls had previously shown Hong up by about 20 points over Crowley.
Progressive Abdul El-Sayed's strength was overestimated by double digits in the Michigan Senate race.
