Elon Musk's SpaceX and Mark Zuckerberg's Meta have released competitive new AI models, closing the gap with established market leaders like OpenAI and Anthropic.

SpaceX Grok 4.6 scored even with OpenAI GPT-5.6 Sol Max on the Artificial Analysis Intelligence Index.
Musk announced Grok 4.7 is scheduled to arrive in three to four weeks.
